I am nothing but what God has given to me… I am the
gift He has given the world… to show how great He is I am the
light He has given to my friends… to show the path to righteousness, I am the
hope He has given to my family… for a better future than even what they had, I am the
faith for the stranger down on his luck… to show that things will get better, because I have been there before, I am the
servant to the man that cannot lift his own soul… fore God has given me the strength to rise through all situations
through Him that strengthens me, I am the
love that God shines through me… for without me, there wouldn’t be a vessel to show His mercy, talent, creativity,
humor, and sacrifice…. I am NOTHING
but what God has given to me … Repeat that to yourself
at least once a day, with complete conviction. That is why Bible Tails is created… why God destined you to come to this
site, to read, and to be inspired/think about the path you are taking at this moment. Do you know where you are going? No,
I am not talking about Heaven or Hell… but in life? Do you have a plan for the next step? If you do, then good, but
if you don’t… where would you LIKE to go? For those of you who do know your next step, what will you do if you
cannot make that last step? Okay, what will you do if that step doesn’t come through either? Will you give up and consume
failure or will you stand up, and try again? What if you fail over and over again… what then?
I am not asking all of these questions to depress you, but to help you find YOUR
FOUNDATION and where it stands. Is it a foundation where as soon as you fail,
you fall, and never get back up, or is it one that no matter how many times you fall, you may not get back to the point that
you were before, but you sure are better off than what you were when falling? Or even better, in a completely different spot
than where you were before, on a track that brings you beyond even your wildest imagination? Why
BIBLE TAILS?
But what gave me the idea for Bible Tails? Lets go back to elementary school: Do you remember the cartoons you used
to watch in the 80’s and 90’s? How awesome they were, action packed? The greatest things on the planet? Now go
back and watch some of them now and see how great they are. See the difference? When we were younger, things were so bright,
so hopeful, but even though the cartoons may seem campy compared to today’s standards, we still love them. I have been
a Christian since I can remember, and not a closed minded one either. I would watch Christian programming like many others
that were my age, but I would look at the cartoons differently. I would analyze them, see how they entertain me. They didn’t.
I know they weren’t supposed to really entertain, but more so to educate, but lets look at the previous example of cartoons: …. …. ……… Exactly. Nobody remembers the
characters, let alone the storylines… and they are supposed to be the main points of the animations in the first place.
Today’s youth needs things that are rougher, and realer… I know… coming from a person who draws animals
as the main characters of the stories. But again, the most recognized icon in the world is a… mouse. For me, animals
can be more expressive with their responses. They do not hold the racial barriers that humans tend to have, but at the same
time, it is easier to show the amount of animosity between two species just by choosing two that notoriously dislike each
other. But the most important reasoning as to using animals as the characters in the storyline is… They are more
fun to draw J. But why the Bible?
Why not do my own storyline? God has given me too many blessings in my life not to use my talent for Him in some kind of way.
It is an excuse for me to read the Bible for study, and to teach (my greatest passion) something that crosses over all races,
creeds, lifestyles, and interests. It is something I believe in, and it hurts my heart to see so many turn away because it
seems archaic to them because of the way it is being taught. One thing you will not see from me is straight forward preaching.
I show by example just as the Bible does, but often gets lost in translation. Dare to be different,
dare to be radical, dare to change. GLYASDI, Indi |
